A great Coffee Press

I am very pleased to say the least with this Espro P7 18oz coffee press and have completely gone to this over all of my other four (4) various manufacturers of French presses that I have used some for several decades as well as now I am bypassing my previous favorite espresso machine’s results (Alex Duetto Espresso Machine) … this P7 produces a very clean and rich tasting cup and w/o hardly any effort whatsoever in doing so… I find very few “fines” left in my decanted results… I find both my black as well as my milk coffees to really shine in using this product.

Great gift

I bought this as a gift for my son-in-law. He hasn’t used it yet (it isn’t camping season here in NE Montana yet. But he absolutely loves the in-house one we also gave him. He uses it daily and it makes great coffee. His only quibble with that was the gasket was bent (crooked when put in the unit at the factory, which causes some grounds to get into the coffee, but he somehow turns it to lessen that).

I broke my P3 carafe, so instead of replacing it, I bought a P6, which does not have a glass carafe and will keep the coffee warm for a while. It’s a terrific French press. I just wish it was easier to see the water-levels while filling it.

While the thermos portion is sturdy and the double filter works as expected, the plastic portion broke off from the top the week I got it. Double filtering works well, but can be a bit messy when cleaning.
