ESPRO Ritual No. 01 - Easter Slow Pour
Your Easter cup. Don’t rush this one. Soft vanilla. Bright orange.
A clean, full-bodied coffee that carries both. This is a slower morning in a cup.
Ingredients:
- 18g freshly ground coffee (medium-coarse)
- 300ml water (94–96°C)
- 120ml milk (whole or 2%)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1–2 tsp fresh orange juice (or 2–3 drops orange extract)
- Fresh orange zest
Make it:
1. Brew the coffee
- Add 18g coffee to your ESPRO press.
- Pour 300ml hot water (94–96°C).
- Stir gently, place the lid, and steep for 4 minutes.
- Press halfway, wait 10 seconds, then press fully.
2. Warm the milk
- Heat milk to 60–65°C.
- No boiling. It should feel silky, not frothy.
3. Build the cup
- Pour coffee into your cup.
- Add warm milk.
- Stir in vanilla, then orange.
4. Finish
- Express fresh orange zest over the top.
- Let the oils sit on the surface.
