I finally switched to a French press and it is the best coffee I have ever made at home! I am extremely satisfied with this product. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is a bit particular to me: the min/max fill lines get hidden underneath the black cover when the glass piece is slid into place. But that's my OCD, everything else is perfect.

Hands down, the best French Press I've ever owned! Easy to use, easy to clean. My morning brew is smooth and ground-free to the very last pour! This will be the only French Press I'll be using.

Makes a great cup of coffee and it is free of sediment, but don't like the plastic holder and parts. My previous press had a metal holder that I liked because I could set it on a warm burner to keep coffee warm. It is also hard to empty out all of the coffee leaving about a 1/4 cup that is trapped by the filter.

There's always about 1/4 cup of coffee left in the bottom that gets trapped by the plastic filter. I'm also disappointed that the filter that touches the coffee is plastic, as I try to avoid plastic when possible. I still have sediment in my coffe and this pot is messy to clean. I don't think this is better than any other french press. I bought this on the recommendation from Wirecutter.
