Twelve Drinks of December: Drink Nine

Ingredients

• 1 Ounce of French Press Coffee, using the ESPRO Coffee Press P5
• Melted Chocolate and crushed Candy Cane, for garnish
• Whisper of Peppermint Extract
• 1 Ounce of Chocolate Liqueur
• 1 Ounce of Vanilla Vodka
• 1 Ounce of Coffee Liqueur

Method

For the best flavor, make your coffee with the ESPRO Press. Pour into a carafe and let cool. 

Prepare your glass by dipping the rim of a martini glass in melted chocolate, followed by crushed peppermint. Do not "overload" the glass with chocolate and peppermint as they will then slide down the glass. Place in freezer to set.

Place a very small drop of peppermint extract in a cocktail shaker. Rotate the shaker to lightly coat the shaker with the peppermint extract and pour out the excess into your sink, to leave just a "whisper." A little goes a long way! Add the coffee, chocolate liqueur, vanilla vodka, and coffee liqueur. Add ice and shake. Strain into your glass. Enjoy!
