I own 4 French presses. I love this one. Easy to use and easy to clean. Very lightweight and it Stays Hot. (Bit of a surprise but yes). I used this in quarantine quite extensively. I chose to follow a more coffee expert approach to the instructions. Visit the Serious Eats website or other coffee sites. You can bloom and swirl after 3 min or stir after 90 seconds. Both achieve the same thing.

Great for Camping

I bought an Espro portable French press for a family member who was going off to college as well as one for myself for camping. I ended up using mine even more frequently than I expected and it’s held up well. The seals are nice and tight so I don’t get much (if any) sediment in the bottom of my coffee cup. I have always poured my coffee into a mug so I can’t speak to the insulation but it seems like it would keep coffee hot for a while.
