Meet George Howell Coffee - Boston, MA
George Howell has been a pillar of excellence in the specialty coffee community for nearly five decades. Before launching George Howell Coffee in 2004, he built and sold his first brand, The Coffee Connection, to Starbucks in 1994.
George then began working to create stronger, more sustainable coffee supply chains alongside the United Nations and International Coffee Organization. He was pivotal in engineering the Cup of Excellence program, which highlights and rewards outstanding coffee farmers.
Since its opening in 2004, George Howell Coffee has remained a leader in transparent coffee sourcing, exceptional roasting, and memorable cafe experiences.
What We’re Brewing
Small Farms Lot Antigua Guatemala
A clear and sweet bean from the Antigua region of Guatemala, featuring the deep chocolate notes coffees from the area are known for, along with a pleasant almond nuttiness and a pleasant tangerine tang.
This incredible coffee comes from “one of the most consistent cooperative producers of quality”, according to George Howell.
